Biography of Alexis Dziena

Alexis Gabbriel Dziena, born on July 8, 1984 is a Hollywood actress, a drummer and a budding playwright. She grew up in New York City and spent many of her summers in a small South New Jersey shore town, Sea Isle City. She studied at Saint Ann's School along with her co-star of "Bringing Rain" {2003}, Paz de la Huerta. While at school Alexis Dziena took some time off for classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts to learn the nuances in acting and later she also performed there in a number of plays.

Finally in 2002 she made her acting debut in TNT's "Witchblade". Since then she never looked back. She appeared in a number of Television shows and acted in almost fifteen movies as of January 2007.

Alexis Dziena played the character, Kara Underlay in twenty-one episodes of ABC's "Invasion" {2005-2006}, an American science fiction television series that shows how water-based extraterrestrials invade a small town in Florida after the hurricane and take over the human bodies through cloning process. In "Joan of Arcadia" {2005}, Alexis Dziena portrays the role of Bonnie in two of its episodes.

In "Broken Flowers" {2005} she essayed the role of Lolita, a teenaged girl who appears fully nude in front of Don Johnston {played by Bill Murray}. Richard Roeper, a film critic for Chicago Sun-Times and co-host of Ebert & Roeper, listed her performance as one of the five "Most startling nude scenes of the year" in 2005.

She currently lives in Los Angeles and for a while dated well-known actor Michael Pitt.
